The Foundation runs programs, provides products and services, and accepts donations in support of its public charitable mission:

WIDS – Curriculum development and management software and consulting services
Donations – Financial, personal property and real property gifts supporting the WTCS and technical education
Collaborative Endeavors – Joint ventures, project and grant management, and business opportunities benefitting the WTCS/technical colleges.

The Foundation owns and operates WIDS, the Worldwide Instructional Design System. WIDS' robust web-based software tool and expert consulting services deliver excellence in "everything curriculum."

Software – WIDS software helps colleges, businesses and government entities develop, align and manage curriculum. It is used to design programs and courses, align outcomes, develop plans for assessment of student learning, and manage the access, consistency, and integrity of all curriculum.

Consulting – WIDS' passionate and experienced team of instructional designers helps clients develop program and course curriculum, align curriculum to standards, develop plans for learning and assessment, and train staff.

The Foundation is happy to assist individuals and organizations with charitable efforts benefitting technical education. We gratefully accept donations of real and personal property, as well as financial gifts, and are particularly well-suited to assist with gifts intended to have a statewide or regional impact.

The Foundation has a long history as a trusted and accountable charitable hub with the capacity to distribute gifts of equipment and material across technical college programs. As a section 501(c)(3) charitable organization, gifts to the Foundation may be tax deductible. The extent of any charitable deduction should be determined by the donor in consultation with its own tax advisor.

For information about corporate and individual donations, contact Paul Gabriel.

Collaborative Endeavors

The Foundation is well-positioned to act as a hub for statewide and regional joint ventures and projects benefitting the WTCS, technical colleges and career and technical education. These services -- ranging from grant management, pilot project development, or developing new joint ventures and business opportunities – are available to enhance and complement, but not take the place of, WTCS and college leadership. For more information, contact Paul Gabriel.
