The WTCS Foundation provides products and services, operates collaborative programs and projects and solicits and accepts donations in support of its public charitable mission including:


WIDS®

The Foundation owns and operates WIDS®, industry-leading curriculum software and consulting services. 

 WIDS software delivers comprehensive tools to develop, align and manage curriculum.  WIDS is used to design courses, programs and pathways;  align outcomes, develop learning and assessment plans and to manage access, consistency and integrity of curriculum in support of learner success, accreditation, collaboration and efficiency. 

WIDS consulting services support standards-driven program and course design and alignment, apprenticeship development, occupational (DACUM) analyses, development of job and workplace competencies and a wide array of project management services.        

WIDS’ diverse client base includes community and technical colleges, universities, multi-campus systems, , K-12 districts, business and industry and state, federal and international educational agencies.

Collaborative Programs

The Foundation is well-positioned to serve as a hub for statewide and regional joint ventures, programs and projects benefitting the WTCS, Wisconsin technical colleges and career and technical education.  These may include grant management, pilot project development, program administration and developing new joint ventures and business opportunities.

Donations and Gifts

The Foundation is happy to assist individuals and organizations with charitable efforts benefitting the WTCS, Wisconsin technical colleges and career and technical education. In addition to monetary gifts, the Foundation is a trusted and accountable charitable hub with the capacity to distribute gifts of property, such as equipment and materials, across technical colleges on a statewide basis.  

As an IRS 501(c)(3) charitable organization, gifts to the Foundation may be tax deductible. The extent of any charitable deduction should be determined by the donor in consultation with its own tax advisor.
